The northern lights are one of the most beautiful and mystical natural phenomena. To see this, you must be very lucky: the plasma from the solar flare must hit the Earth, the place where you are must be dark and the sky must be clear. Many photographers get their shots of the Northern Lights on their 3rd or even 5th try. But I got lucky the first time.
